Hour function

Description

This function returns the hour component of a time as a number between 0 - 23. The HOUR function is to extract the hour into cell, or feed the result into another formula like the TIME function.

Returns the hour as a number from 0 to 23.

=HOUR(serial_number)

serial_number - Valid time used by Excel.
